Nestled in the Rogue Valley, Ashland is the gateway to the beautiful Pacific
Northwest and home to the Flying
L Ranch. You will find us 15 miles north
of the California border, sitting about 2,000 feet above sea level. Mt. Ashland
looms above us to the south, 7,500 feet high. The rugged and biologically
diverse Siskiyou Mountains are located to the west and the lush Cascade Range
lies to the east. Although the weather is fairly mild, there are four distinct
seasons. The hills across the valley turn green with the spring rains and
golden brown in the summer’s heat. Fall brings crisp days and chilly
nights, along with the brilliant palette of leaves turning. And in the winter,
when it snows, the hills are beautiful with that alpine feel.
