Ocean Breezes / Redwood Ride
Combine exciting riding on the beach and in the Redwoods. You will stay at
local inns and explore the beaches and Redwood forest on three exhilarating
private riding days. As you meander on the northern California coast, through
towering majestic Redwood forests, you’ll come upon spectacular ocean
views. California’s unique climate offers unmatched riding days year
round. Riders of all skill levels are encouraged to join us. We will custom
tailor the package for any riding level.
Sample Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive by 5 p.m., and join us for wine and cheese appetizers and dinner.
Day 2: After an introduction of the horses, tack, etc., saddle up for a 4 hour guided ride. The afternoon is free for sightseeing. We will gladly arrange a guided wine tour at no extra charge, if available. Meet for local wine and cheese appetizers between 5 and 6 p.m., then dine on local cuisine.
Day 3: Ride through ancient Redwood forests, with ample opportunity for long trots and canters.
Day 4: Ride along the ocean bluffs, with phenomenal views over the Pacific and across ranchlands into the forests. For many people, this day fulfills a dream, concluding in a long canter along the surf.
Optional Activities:
Biking, whale watching and ocean fishing are available locally. Wine tours, including small family boutique wineries and top-name estate cellars.

Note: Long hours in saddle*
Equipment: Comfortable clothing, sun block, sunglasses, hat and sturdy gloves
and boots.
We provide:
- beverages and meals, including a hearty cowboy breakfast, saddlebag
lunch and deluxe dinners.
Please let us know of any special dietary requests at the time of booking - horses and tack (including canteens and saddlebags)
- friendly knowledgeable staff (all guides are First Aid certified)
*We do require riding experience. You should be able to walk, trot, canter and should be in good physical condition, able to ride 6-8 hours per day for most of our trails. We do take breaks every hour to stretch our legs, but the pace can be quite challenging with long stretches of trotting and cantering where terrain allows. However, we do adjust to every riding ability to make it enjoyable for riders and the horses, as well.
